iMirus knows that You on iMirus Account holder (collectively; "You," "Your," "Yourself," and "User") care how information about You is used and shared, and iMirus appreciates Your trust that iMirus will do so carefully and sensibly. This Policy explains iMirus's treatment of information that is collected when You are on the iMirus web sites and in the iMirus reader software (both online and in download form collectively ("iMirus Reader(s)") and when You use our products and services (collectively, the "Product(s) and Service(s)"), which may include personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") or transaction information ("Transaction Information"). By using iMirus's Products and Services, You are accepting the practices described here.

The iMirus Product or Service is operated by Riggs Heinrich Media, Inc. ("iMirus" and "Product(s) or Service(s)"). The iMirus Product or Service includes the iMirus store web site or any iMirus related web sites that provides You the capability to purchase and subscribe to various magazines, catalogs, books, and other publications and products – in print and/or digital form – and where applicable, will have certain digital products delivered to You via e-mail by other digital means. Use of the iMirus Reader software (both online and in download form collectively ("iMirus Reader(s)") are further subject to the iMirus Reader License Agreement. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that iMirus does not own or control, or to individuals or entities that iMirus does not employ or manage, including, but not limited to, publishers, authors, or operators of 3rd party web sites that You may visit before or after visiting the iMirus Products or Services and the owners or publishers of magazines, catalogs, books, and other products and services (collectively: "3rd Party Content") You purchase, download or otherwise access through the iMirus Products and Services.

User Information

iMirus collects information from Users, which may include Personal Information, and Transaction Information at different points on iMirus' web sites or within iMirus' Readers as follows:

We receive and store information You enter on our Web site or give us in any other way.

Registration data:

When You register for a Product and or Service, iMirus may ask that You provide basic contact information such as Your name, address, and email address. This basic contact information will NOT be sold or provided to any third party other than publishers of 3rd Party Content that You are downloading or purchasing, such as a magazine, catalog, book, or other publication.

Order data:

When You subscribe or purchase 3rd Party Content through the iMirus Products and Services, iMirus may collect Your subscription, purchase, address and billing information including Your credit card number and expiration date.

Voluntary information:

iMirus may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when You provide feedback, change Your content or email preferences, respond to a survey, or communicate with iMirus Customer Support.

Transaction data:

When You access a publisher's 3rd Party Content for an iMirus web site or within the iMirus Reader(s) the following transaction information is recorded and provided to the publisher for management reporting purposes: number and types of pages, web site link click throughs, for 3rd party magazines, number of advertising impressions and click-throughs, and number of times You access or download the publisher's 3rd Party Content from an iMirus web site. For 3rd party catalogs, number product impressions and click-throughs, and number of times You access or download the publisher's 3rd Party Content from an iMirus web site.

Information Collected Automatically

IMirus receives and stores certain types of information whenever You interact with iMirus web sites or the iMirus Readers.

Computer configuration:

iMirus automatically receives and logs information from Your browser, including Your IP address, Your computer's name, Your operating system, browser type and version, CPU speed, and connection speed. Referral, click stream, and site interaction data:

iMirus may also record the URL You linked from to get to, Your click stream through and from our Web site, and other generally accepted tracking information.

e-Mail delivery, downloads, and open rates:

To help iMirus make our emails more useful and interesting, and to ensure that we are delivering the 3rd Party Content You have ordered, iMirus often receives a confirmation when You receive, download, and/or open email or digital Products or Services from iMirus.

Software installation and Products and Services access:

When You install the iMirus Reader and access or download 3rd Party Content or other files from an iMirus web site, for downloads iMirus may record when each file transfer begins and ends, any errors that interrupt the transfer, and the number of times You access a publisher's 3rd Party Content. For 3rd Party Content that is viewed within the iMirus online Reader, iMirus records the number of times You access the 3rd Party Content, if the publisher requires You to enter a User name and password to access the full content.

Information from Other Sources

iMirus may receive information about You from other sources, add it to our account information, and treat it in accordance with this policy.

Customer and order data from publishers, partners, affliates, or any 3rd Party Content provider:

If You place an order for a magazine, catalog, book, other publication, or media directly with a publisher or another iMirus partner or affliate for which iMirus provides fulfillment or other services, Your account information and order information is passed to us. IMirus will treat this information in the same accord as if Your account information and order information was taken directly through an iMirus web site, Product or Service.

Updated delivery and address information:

iMirus may obtain updated contact information from third parties in order to correct our records and fulfill Your orders or deliver communications to You.

Demographic and purchase information:

We may reference other sources of demographic and purchase information in order to provide You with more targeted communications and promotions.

How iMirus Uses Cookies

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that a Web site can store on Your computer's hard drive. When You visit the iMirus store, or an iMirus web site, create a User account, subscribe, purchase, download or access a Product or Service from us, or sign-in to the iMirus Readers we may set cookies on Your personal computer. We require that cookies be enabled in Your Web browser so that we can identify You as a repeat visitor or customer and maintain session information for logged-in Users. We also use cookies to track usage trends and patterns in order to better understand and improve areas of our Web site. Publishers, partners, and affiliates:

iMirus may provide publishers, partners, and affiliates for whom iMirus sells or distributes 3rd Party Content or other products or services on behalf of said publisher, partner, or affiliate, with any Personal Information in connection with or as is necessary to fulfill Your requests for their products, programs or services, or to satisfy other core business functions. In such instances Your Personal information is transferred, Your Personal Information is governed by their respective privacy policies.


iMirus may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf such as fulfilling orders, sending email, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They will be provided access to Personal Information needed to perform their functions, but will not share, disclose, distribute, or provide in any fashion Your Personal Information for use other than to fulfill the contracted function with iMirus.

Protection of iMirus web sites:

iMirus releases account and other Personal Information when it is appropriate to comply with the law; to enforce or apply our Terms of Service, the iMirus Reader License Agreement, or other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of iMirus web sites, our Users, or others.

Business Transfers:

iMirus may transfer information it collects, including any Personal Information, in connection with a business combination transaction or sale of all or most of the assets of Riggs Heinrich Media, Inc., iMirus, or any of its divisions and or subsidiaries. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Riggs Heinrich Media, Inc., iMirus, or any of its divisions and or subsidiaries may continue to use Your Personal Information as set forth in this policy.

Trusted 3rd Parties With Your Consent

With Your consent, iMirus will make Your Personal Information (not including Your credit card information) available to trusted third parties who offer products and services that may be of interest to You so that You can receive information or opportunities related to those products and services. You may update Your preference with regard to our sharing Your information for this purpose by opting in the Your Account area of the iMirus store web site. A trusted third party may use shared information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

iMirus reserves the right to use and disclose anonymous information, including aggregate information derived from Your Personal Information, to inform publishers, partners, and other interested parties as to the usage habits or characteristics of iMirus's User base; and to serve other general business purposes.

Email Communications to Users

iMirus sends email communications to Users in connection with our providing the iMirus Products and Services on behalf of publishers, partners, and affiliates. The following outlines the types of emails iMirus sends to Users, and the choices You have about which messages to receive.

e-mail Delivery Notification of Products and Services You purchased or subscribed to:

On behalf of the publisher, partner, or affiliate, iMirus may provide e-mail delivery notification that their Product or Services is ready for You to view and or download to the iMirus Readers. IMirus may also send You communications related to Your order, for example encouraging You to pay for or renew Your subscription or product.

e-mail Delivery Notification of Prospective Products and Services sent by iMIrus on behalf of the publisher, partner, or affiliate:

On behalf of the publisher, partner, or affiliate, iMirus may provide e-mail delivery notification for their prospective Product or Services. These emails will provide You with an opt out or unsubscribe capability to not receive future e-mails associated with the publisher's magazine title, catalog title, or book title.

Messages required to service or confirm Your iMirus Account:

iMirus may send newly registered Users a welcoming email, as well as messages confirming each order You place directly at; confirming Your account changes; inviting You to participate in customer surveys; and informing You of important product or service updates.

Marketing messages about Publications You receive:

IMirus may send You marketing messages related to the Publications You receive, for example, encouraging You to purchase additional single copies or to subscribe.

Optional marketing message from iMirus:

Registered Users may also occasionally receive information or special promotions from IMirus about additional Products and Services. You may update Your preference with regard to receiving such messages by opting out in the Your Account area of the iMirus Web site.

Optional marketing messages from Trusted 3rd Parties with Your consent:

With Your consent, iMirus may share Your Personal Information (not including Your credit card information) with trusted third parties so that You may receive information or opportunities from them about relevant products and services they offer. You may update Your preference by opting in the Your Account area of the iMirus Web site.

Changing or Removing Your Information

To review or update Your Personal Information, or to alter Your email preferences, or preferences regarding how iMirus shares Your Personal Information, visit the Your Account area of If at any time You would like to close Your account, send email to Your Personal Information will be removed from our active User database and will be deleted assuming that You are current with all payment obligations, that iMirus does not believe it reasonably necessary to keep such information for any pending legal action, and that iMirus is under no other legal obligation to retain such information. Please be aware that any unfulfilled subscriptions may be canceled without refund and You will have to re-register in order to use the iMirus Service. It is Your responsibility to request a refund from iMirus or the 3rd party merchant.

Security Practices

iMirus uses reasonable and current security methods to protect Your personal data. Your information will be stored in a database located behind multiple firewalls and accessible only to authorized personnel. iMirus does not encrypt normal Web sessions, but any financial transmission You input to our servers such as credit card or other Personal Information uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information before the data is passed over the Internet. Password and credit card information is then stored in our database in an encrypted, non-human readable form.


iMirus does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, Personal Information from persons under the age of eighteen without parental consent.

Notification of Changes

From time to time, iMirus may revise this Privacy Policy to keep it up to date with iMirus's Products and Services. The update date is used to alert You to recent changes. If changes to iMirus's privacy policy will directly affect how iMirus shares Your Personal Information, iMirus will notify You by posting a notice on it's store web site, or by sending You an email and giving You an opportunity to opt out of such change. Unless we notify You otherwise, our collection and use of Your Personal Information is governed by the privacy policy in effect at the time such Personal Information is collected.
